Budhanoor Kunnathoor Kulangara Devi temple is located at Budhanoor on Mannar - Puliyoor Road near Mavelikara in Alappuzha district, Kerala. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathy. The annual festival in the temple is famous for Kettukazhcha. Pathamudayam (April 23) is an important date in the temple.
This is a beautiful Kerala style temple with a chuttambalam, Kodimaram (flag pole), namaskara mandapam and shrines of upa devatas.
The annual festival in the temple is famous for ezhunnallathu, caparisoned elephants, kettukazhcha kuthira, kala and other huge procession. Kuthiras and kalas from various localities are pulled to the temple.
Jeevitha ezhunnallathu and parayeduppu are part of the annual festival.
The shrine also observes various Devi temple festivals including Navratri and Thrikarthika festival.
