Peechi Thundathu Bhagavathy temple is located at Peechi in Thrissur district, Kerala. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Durga Bhagavathy. The annual pooram festival in the temple is held on Punartham nakshatra in Kumbha Masam.
This is a traditional style Kerala temple
located in a beautiful place atop a small hill. The shrine has a chathura
sreekovil, namaskara mandapam, shrines of upa devatas and a pond.
The annual festival is nearly a dozen caparisoned elephants, melam, ezhunnallathu and performing art forms of Kerala.
The temple observes various other rituals and festivities in a calendar year including Makara chowa, prathishta dinam, Vishu, Ramayana Masam, Navratri, Mandalakalam and Thrikarthika.
