Thudayannoor Arathakandappan temple is located at Thudayannoor on Kanjirathummoodu – Mannoor – Anchal Road in Kollam district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Shiva or Mahadeva who is lovingly known as Arathakandappan. The 8-day annual festival in the temple is held in Kumbha Masam (February – March) and concludes on the Shivratri day.
The annual festival is famous for Kuthirayeduppu, procession, kettukazhcha, Kerala temple folk art forms, melam and pujas and rituals.
Chatara Devi temple is located
nearby.
A Shivling is worshipped in the
sreekovil. The shrine has a chuttambalam and namaskara mandapam and kodimaram.
The temple has been recently renovated.
The upa devatas in the temple include Ganapathy and Goddess Bhagavathy.
