Kilimanoor Elluvila Bhagavathy temple, also known as Elluvilla Devi temple, is located at Kilimanoor in Thiruvananthapuram district, Kerala. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathi. The annual festival in the temple is held in Kumbha Masam.
This is a typical Kerala temple with a
chathura sreekovil, chuttambalam, kodimaram and upa devata shrines.
The annual festival in the temple is
famous for Pongala ritual and thookam. All the pujas and rituals performed
during annual festivals in South Kerala including seeveli, sree bhootha bali,
Ganapati homam and arattu are performed during the annual festival. The shrine
is also noted in the region for melam and ezhunellippu.
The temple also observes Navratri, Ashtam,
Navami, Vijaya Dashami and Thrikarthika.
The temple also observes the annual Bali Tharpanam rituals on Karkidaka Vavu day.
