Kanjiramvila Bhagavathi Temple - Chathannoor

Kanjiramvila Bhagavathi temple is located near Chathannoor in Kollam district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathi. The annual festival in the temple is is famous as Chathannoor pooram and is held Makara Bharani (January - February).

This is a unique shrine with two kodmarams. The temple has got a chuttambalam and square sanctum sanctorum. The deity in the shrine is in seated position.

The annual festival is famous for the display of caparisoned elephants.

Other important festival observed in the temple includes Kumbha Bharani, Navratri, Thrikarthika and Thiruvathira festival in Dhanu Masam.
