Chittalloor Devi temple is located at Ambalamukku in Thiruvananthapuram district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathi and the annual festival in the temple coincides with the Makara Bharani day (January – February).
This is a small temple dedicated to
Goddess Devi with a square sanctum sanctorum – Chatura sreekovil.
The annual festival in the temple is noted
for Thalappoli pattu, Thottam Pattu, Sheeveli and Guruthi. Melam, caparisoned
elephants, and temple art forms are part of the festival.
The shrine also observes Vinayaka Chaturthi in Chingam month, Navratri, Thrikarthika and Thiruvathira in Dhanu masam.
