Azhikode Myladathadam Elankarumakan temple is located at Myladathadam near Azhikode in Kannur District in Kerala. The temple is dedicated to Shiva and Goddess Kari Chamundi. The annual festival at Elankarumakan temple is observed in Makara Masam (January – February).
The annual festival is famous for melam and unique rituals not part of many temples in Kerala. The murti is carried on head during the festival.
Apart from the temple also observes Mahashivratri.
Pradosham falling on the 13th day of a fortnight and Mondays are of great significance in the temple.
The temple also observes Thrikarthika and Thiruvathira in Dhanu Masam.
