Chernnamangalam Shiva temple is located near Kilimanoor in Thiruvananthapuram district, Kerala. The temple is of great significance because the pratishta in the temple was performed by Sri Narayana Guru. The shrine is dedicated to Shiva.
Sri Narayana Guru performed the pratishta here on Monday, June 13, 1927 (Kolla Varsham 1102 Edavam 30).
The temple is located Nagaroor – Karettu road. The shrine is around 2 km from Poykkada Kavala.
Monday is of importance in the temple. The shrine observes Pradosham on the 12th or the 13th day of a fortnight. Mahashivratri in Kumbham month is of great significance here.
