Anchuthengu Sree Njaneswara temple is located at Anchuthengu in Thiruvananthapuram district, Kerala. The temple is of importance because the prathishta in the temple was performed by Sree Narayana Guru. The shrine is dedicated to Shiva and a Shivling is worshipped in the temple.
Sri Narayana Guru had also consecrated Subrahmanya and Ganapati as Upa Devata here.
Sri Narayana Guru had performed the pratishta of the Shivling on 28, March 1915 CE (Kollavarsham 1090 Meenam 15).
Monday is of great importance in the temple. The shrine observes Pradosham on the 12th or the 13th day of a fortnight.
