Puthiyakavu Devi temple is located at Uzhuva In Vayalar in Alappuzha district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathi who is known as Puthiyakavil Amma.
The annual mudiyettu festival is held in the Kumbham month. The annual temple festival is held during February – March and is famous caparisoned elephants and unique Bhagavathi temple related rituals.
As per history the murti worshipped in the temple was the Thevara Murti of Cheruvalli Mana. The temple is now maintained by a committee of local people.
