Kattukukke Subramanya Swamy Temple – Katukukke Sri Subraya Devastana - Sashti Festival

Kattukukke Subramanya Swamy temple, also known as Katukukke Sri Subraya Devastana, is located at Perla in Kasaragod district, Kerala. The temple is dedicated to Subramanya or Murugan, son of Mahadev Shiva.

The most important festival observed in the temple is observed on Shukla Paksha Sashti day in Vrischikam month.

After the Vrischikam month Sashti Sadhya (traditional feast) devotees roll on the left over on the banana leaves (echilayail shayana pradakshinam). This is done as a vazhipadu for Uddhishtakaryiya Sidhi.

The temple belongs to Rayanmar and Bhattar.
