Acheswaram Temple At Kaipamangalam

Acheswaram temple is located at Kaipamangalam in Thrissur district, Kerala. The temple is 1 km east of Vazhiyambalam stop on Kodungallur – Guruvayur road. The temple was earlier known as Agastheshwarapuram.

The main deity Shiva is worshipped in the form of Shivling. The darshanam of the temple is towards east. There is only one puja in a day. The Upa Devatas worshipped in the temple are Ganapathy and Nagam.

The main festival observed in the temple is Mahashivratri in Kumbham month.

The temple belonged to Pazhoor Family. The temple was part of ancient Ayiroor kingdom.
