When is Shani Good in Horoscope - Janam Kundali?

Shani is generally good to people who follow Dharma. Shani maintains balance in the living world by providing justice. Shani is a terror and punisher for those who perform Adharma, intentionally hurt other living beings or take what away what belongs to others. There are few times when the positioning of Shani is good and beneficial in horoscope or Janam Kundali.

Shani is good in Horoscope - Janam Kundali – when it is positioned in three houses (places).

The three places where Shani is beneficial are Shani in third, fifth and eleventh house in a horoscope. (जन्म-कुंडली में शनि तीन स्थानों - तृतीय, षष्टम एवं एकादशी - पर शुभ माना जाता है ।)

Shani is bad when Shani is on the twelfth, first and second house from Janam Kalin Chandra (from the house of moon during birth). This is known as Sade Sati. (जब शनि जन्म कालीन चंद्र से द्वादश, प्रथम एवं दूसरे स्थान पर आता है तो इसे शनि की साढ़ेसाती के नाम से जाना जाता है।)

Apart from this when Shani changes from the fourth and eighth house from the house of moon during birth it is known as Shani Dayya (शनि के ढैया). जब जन्म के समय चंद्र से शनि चतुर्थ एवं अष्टम स्थान से परिवर्तित होता है तो इसे शनि के ‘ढैया’ के नाम से जाना जाता है ।
