Lhasurne Navalai Devi Yatra is annually held in Chaitra
month. This is the most important annual fair and festival at the Navalai Devi
Temple at Lhasurne at Koregaon Taluka of Satara District in Maharashtra. Lhasurne
Navalai Devi Yatra 2024 date is April 13.
Navalai Devi is a manifestation of Mother Goddess Shakti.
Rituals associated with Shakti worship are performed on the day.
The temple is beautifully decorated during the period
traditionally with flowers, leaves, traditional lamps and lights.
The day is of importance to the villagers. People from
nearby towns and villages arrive to participate in this annual fair and
festival. Important rituals are held during the period.
Lhasurne Navalai Devi Yatra is annually held on Chaitra
Shukla Paksha Panchami tithi or the fifth day during the waxing phase of moon
in Chaitra month as per traditional Hindu lunar calendar followed in
Maharashtra.
