Pandupol Hanuman Mandir is a very popular
shrine dedicated to Hindu God Hanumanji and is located at Pandupol in Alwar,
Rajasthan. Pandupol Mandir is around 35 km from Alwar Railway Station. It is
believed that Pandupol, a very beautiful place, was visited by Pandavas during
their exile period.
This Hanuman Mandir was founded by Sant
Nirbhaya Das Ji and is believed to be more 5000 years old. A simple Mandir
without any major architectural Mandir attracts thousands of devotees.
The unique feature of the murti worshipped here is that it
is in reclining position.

Red thread and talisman is brought to the Mandir by
devotees. Pujas are performed and tied on devotees. It is belief that it helps
in alleviating fear of ghosts and other supernatural beings.
