Harbadi Utsav and Kalbhairav Yatra at Billur in Jath near Sangli

Harbadi Utsav and Kalbhairav Yatra are annually observed in Magh month. The festival at the Kalbhairav Temple here is known as Harbadi Utsav and Kalbhairav Yatra. The fair and festival involves chariot pulling and other rituals. Harbadi Utsav and Kalbhairav Yatra 2026 date is February 3.

Hundreds of people attend this festival dedicated to the fierce Kalbhairav form of Shiva. People from nearby villages attend the fair.

Harbadi Utsav and Kalbhairav Yatra is observed on Magh Krishna Paksha Dwitiya Tithi or the second day during the waning phase of moon in Magh month as per traditional Hindu lunar calendar followed in Maharashtra.
