Receive Prasad from Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Mahakaleshwar Mandir Via India Post in Shravan Month

Indian postal department has tied up with the management of Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Mahakaleshwar Mandir to send Prasad from the temples to the homes of devotees via the speed post service of India Post in Shravan month. Special pujas are conducted in both the temples during the Shravan month.
Times of India reports 
Director, postal services, Allahabad region, Krishna Kumar Yadav that as per an agreement between Kashi Vishwanath Mandir Trust and department of posts, it has been decided to make available prasad from the temple to devotees. The devotees need to send a money order of Rs 60 addressed to senior superintendent of post office, Varanasi (East). In return, they will get 'bhabhuti' (ash), rudraksh, laminated photograph of Lord Shiva and Shiv Chalisa. The prasad will be send by Kashi Vishwanath Mandir Trust. 
Prasad from Shri Mahakaleshwar Jyotirling Mandir in Ujjain can also be ordered by post.
To avail this facility, a devotee will have to send a money order of Rs 151 addressed to Prashashak, Shri Mahakaleshwar Mandir Prabandhan Committee. The prasad will be sent through speed post. It will contain 200 gms of dry fruit, 200 grams of sweets (laddu), ashes (bhabhuti) and a photo of Lord Shri Mahakaleshwar. 
The prasad would be send in waterproof envelopes.
