Goddess Bageshwari Worship on Tuesdays in Shravan Month

Goddess Bageshwari is a manifestation of Mother Goddess Shakti. Tuesdays in the Shravan Month is dedicated to the Goddess. Mangalvar or Tuesdays in the Shravan Month (July – August) is generally dedicated to worship of Mother Goddess. In 2025, Shravan month in North India is from July 11 to August 9. The month is also famous for the Mangala Gauri Puja on Tuesdays.

The most important puja and rituals are held at the Bageshwari Temple at Gaya in Bihar.

Devotees offer prayers for a good harvest, peace and prosperity.

A mela is held during the period in the vicinity of the Bageshwari Temple at Gaya and it attracts thousands of people.
