Village in Kullu – Manali
in Himachal Pradesh. The temple is also dedicated to Sage Vyas and Kanchan Nag.
The Pran Pratishta was held after 1000 years in the temple on December 1. This
ritual of infusing life into the murti is a very rare ritual.

Thousands of devotees, including tourists, thronged the village to witness the three-day once-in-a-lifetime ceremony. The ceremony included erecting an over 70 feet high huge wooden staff (dhwaja) in temple premises after about 31 years. The pole was brought to the temple from a nearby forest, using ropes.
Palanquins of Goddess Hadimba, Manu Rishi, Vashisht Rishi, Parashar Rishi, Piyuli Nag and Mata Sharvari were present at the ceremony.
