Nakul Navami – Nakula Navmi

Nakul Navami is the birth anniversary of Nakula and Sahadeva – the twin brothers among the Pandavas in the Mahabharata. Nakul Navami 2025 date is August 4. It is observed on the ninth or navami day during the Shukla Paksha, or waxing phase of moon, in the month of Shravan as per traditional Hindu calendar followed in North India.

Nakul and Sahadev are the sons of Madri. They were born with blessings of Ashwini Kumaras.

Nakul is the eldest and Sahadev is the youngest. Mahabharata tells us that both were handsome men. It is also said that Sahadeva had great knowledge in astrology and his predictions always turned true.
