Telugu Ashada Month 2018 – Ashad Masa 2018 in Telugu Calendar in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana

Ashada Masa is the fourth month in a traditional Hindu Telugu calendar followed in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Telugu Ashada Masa 2018 is from July 14 to August 11, 2018.  Some of the auspicious days of the month include Guru Purnima, the beginning of Chatur Mas Vrata and Shayani Ekadasi.

Ashada Masam Telugu calendar 2018 Shukla Paksha (Waxing phase of moon) is from July 14 to July 27, 2018.
Telugu Ashada Masam 2018 Krishna Paksha (Waning phase of moon) is from July 28 to August 11, 2018.

Dev Shayani Ekadasi – July 23
Kamika Ekadasi – August 8

Pradosh – July 25
Pradosh –  August 9

Sankashti Chaturthi monthly fasting dedicated to Lord Ganesh is in Ashada Mahina is on July 31 – Moonrise is at 8:45 PM – Indian standard time.

Purnima in Telugu Ashada Masa
  • Ashada Purnima or Full moon day is on July 27, 2018. 
  • The Purnima Vrat is marked on July 27.
  • The Purnima begins at 10:32 PM on July 26 and ends at 12:33 AM on July 28. 
  • Vyasa and Guru Purnima Vrat are observed on July 27.
Amavasi in Telugu Ashada Masa
Ashad Amavasya or No moon day is on August 11, 2018.
The Amavasi begins at 6:01 PM on August 10 and ends at 3:35 PM on August 11

The dates of important festivals and auspicious days in Telugu Ashada Masam are:
Chatur Mas Vrata begins – July 24
Go Padma Vrata begins – July 24
Chukkala Amavasi and Gauri Vratam –  August 11
