Telugu Ashada Month 2027 – Ashada Masam 2027 Start Date in Telugu Calendar in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana

Ashada Masam is the fourth month in a traditional Hindu Telugu calendar followed in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Telugu Ashada Month 2027 is from July 5 to August 2. Some of the auspicious days of the masa include Guru Purnima, the beginning of Chaturmas Vrat and Shayani Ekadasi. The famous Bonalu festival is held on the Sundays in Ashada month. Fears About Ashada Month 

Some people think that Ashada month is bad but this is not true.

There is a tradition among certain communities in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka in which newly married couple does not stay together in Ashada Masam. Telugu Ashada Masa Shukla Paksha and Krishna Paksha

Ashada Masam Telugu calendar 2027 Shukla Paksha (waxing phase of moon) is from July 5 to July 18, 2027.
Telugu Ashada Masam 2027 Krishna Paksha (waning phase of moon) is from July 19 to August 2, 2027.

Devshayani Ekadashi – July 14 (Toli Ekadashi)
Kamika Ekadashi –  July 29

Purnima in Telugu Ashada Masam
  • Ashada Purnima or Full moon day is on July 18, 2027.
  • The Purnima Vrat is marked on July 18.
  • The Purnima begins at 6:11 PM on July 17 and ends at 8:01 PM on July 18. 
  • Vyasa and Guru Purnima are observed on July 18. 
Amavasya in Telugu Ashada Masam
  • Ashada Amavasya or No moon day is on August 2.
  • The Amavasi begins at 6:19 PM on August 1 and ends at 3:52 PM on August 2, 2027.

Toli Ekadashi -  July 14
Bonalu – Thursdays and Sundays In the month
Chatur Mas Vrata begins – July 15
Go Padma Vrata begins – July 15
Chukkala Amavasi and Gauri Vratam – August 2

Please note that Ashada month 2027 in traditional Hindu calendar followed in North India is from June 19 to July 18.
