Telugu Ashada Month 2017 – Ashad Masa 2017 in Telugu Calendar in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana

Ashada Masa is the fourth month in a traditional Hindu Telugu calendar followed in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Telugu Ashada Masa 2017 is from June 24 to July 23.  Some of the auspicious days in the month include Guru Purnima, the beginning of Chatur Mas Vrata and Shayani Ekadasi.

Ashada Masam Telugu calendar 2017 Shukla Paksha (Waxing phase of moon) is from June 24 to July 9, 2017.
Telugu Ashada Masam 2017 Krishna Paksha (Waning phase of moon) is from July 10 to July 23, 2017.

Dev Shayani Ekadasi – July 4
Kamika Ekadasi – July 19

Pradosh – July 6
Pradosh –  July 21

Sankashti Chaturthi monthly fasting dedicated to Lord Ganesh is in Ashada Mahina is on July 12 – Moonrise is at 9:30 PM – Indian standard time.

Purnima in Telugu Ashada Masa
Ashada Purnima or Full moon day is on July 9, 2017. The Purnima Vrat is marked on July 8.
The Purnima begins at 7:31 AM on July 8 and ends at 9:36 AM on July 9. Vyasa and Guru Purnima Vrat are observed on July 9, 2017.

Amavasi in Telugu Ashada Masa
Ashad Amavasya or No moon day is on July 23, 2017. The Amavasi begins at 6:28 PM on July 22, 2017 and ends at 3:15 PM on July 23, 2017.

The dates of important festivals and auspicious days in Telugu Ashada Masam are:
Chatur Mas Vrata begins – July 4
Go Padma Vrata begins – July 4
Chukkala Amavasi and Gauri Vratam – July 23
