Ashada Masam is the fourth month in a traditional Hindu Telugu calendar followed in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Telugu Ashada Month 2026 is from July 15 to August 12. Some of the auspicious days of the masa include Guru Purnima, the beginning of Chaturmas Vrat and Shayani Ekadasi. The famous Bonalu festival is held on the Sundays in Ashada month.

Usually, the wife stays away from her husband and returns to her home.
