Sri Lakshmi Devi Temple is located in Kenchanahalli village, Tippasandra Hobli, Magadi Taluk, Ramanagara District, Karnataka. This temple is believed to date back to around the 15th century. Two deities are worshipped here: Maramma and Lakshmi Devi. Maramma Devi is considered the main presiding deity of the temple.
Kenchanahalli Sri Lakshmi Temple Story
According to local belief, Maramma Devi originally resided here. Later, when Lakshmi Devi was traveling from the northern direction towards the south, she chose this sacred place as a suitable location to stay. Devotees believe that Lakshmi Devi decided to reside here because of the spiritual importance of the site.
The idol of the goddess faces the north direction. She is seated in the Panchasana posture.

Unique Devotional Practice
Devotees visiting the temple often pray for relief from their difficulties. There is a special tradition of asking the goddess for flower prasada. If the flower prasada is granted, devotees believe that their problems will soon be resolved.
