Azhiyur Koroth Naga Bhagavathy temple is located at Azhiyoor in Mahe. The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Naga Bhagavathi. The annual theyyam thira kaliyattam festival is held for a couple of days in February or March. The temple is a major center of Naga or serpent worship. The shrine is located inside a sacred grove.

the region.
This is a small beautiful temple with a chathura sreekovil –
square sanctum sanctorum – for the main deity. The roof and the walls of the
shrine are traditionally decorated. There are other smaller sreekovil and
square platforms for other deities. Some deities are worshipped under trees.
