Edayazham Poomkavu Devi temple is located at Edayazham – Thalayazham in Kottayam district, Kerala. This is a traditional Kerala style beautiful temple dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathy or Devi. Kumbha Bharani is an important festival in the shrine.
The temple has a traditional chathura sreekovil, namaskara mandapam, nalambalam and kodimaram (flag pole).
The annual festival in the shrine is famous for various tantric pujas and rituals including homam, abhishekam and pushpanjali. The shrine is colorfully decorated with lamps and lights on the occasion of the festival.
Prathishta dinam, Navratri (Vidyarambham) and Thrikarthika are important festival in the shrine.
