Moonnunirath Vayalil Sree Kurumba Bhagavathy temple is located at Moonnunirath near Azhikode North in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Kurumba Bhagavathi, Puthiya Bhagavathi and numerous other deities. The annual theyyam thira kaliyattam festival is held for four days days in Malayalam Meena Masam – Meenam 8 to Meenam 11 (March 21 to March 24).
The important theyyams that can be witnessed at Moonnunirath Vayalil Sree Kurumba Bhagavathy temple are Kurathi theyyam, Veeran theyyam, Veerali theyyam, Puthiya Bhagavathi theyyam, Kundada Chamundi theyyam, Khandakarnan theyyam, Sasthappan theyyam, Vasoorimala, Gulikan theyyam, Nellukuthi pothi, Thee Chamundi and Erinhikkal Bhagavathi theyyam.
The temple has a traditionally decorated chathura sreekovil.
The roof the shrine has traditional motifs. There are raised platforms of
certain deities. Some deities are worshipped under trees.
