English Translation:
O Mother, destroyer of the sins of the three worlds!
O you who bear a fearsome, exposed-toothed form!
O Mother of the universe, O Dakṣiṇā Kāli — the giver of liberation!
Those practitioners who chant your mantra infused with the power of the Kālī
Bīja, Tārā Bīja, and Tripurā Bīja (described in the first three verses),
and who meditate upon your form —
with the upper left hand holding a sword,
the lower left hand holding a severed head,
the upper right hand granting fearlessness,
and the lower right hand bestowing boons —
to them appear the eight great siddhis (supernatural powers)
that are held in the hands of the great Lord Śiva himself,
and your radiant form is revealed to them.
