Poinachi Puthiyaveedu Tharavadu Devasthanam temple is located at Poinachi in Kasaragod district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Kuttichathan, Bhairavan, Vishnumoorthi, Pottan Daivam and other deities that are commonly worshipped in kavu and tharavadu in the region. The annual theyyam thira kaliyattam festival is held for two days in Malayalam Vrischika Masam – Vrischikam 9 to Vrischikam 10 (November 24 and November 25).

Tharavadu Devasthanam temple are Vishnumoorthi theyyam, Rakteshwari theyyam,
Pottan Daivam, Kuttichathan and Bhairavan theyyam.
The temple has a chathura sreekovil (square sanctum
sanctorum). Some deities are worshipped atop small square platforms and under
trees. There are other smaller sreekovils. The temple performs special pujas
and rituals on Sankranti day. The shrine has been renovated and has a modern
look. This is a family maintained private temple.
