Ariyallur Shiva temple is located at Ariyallur in Vallikunnu village in Malappuram district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Shiva and the darshanam of Ariyallur Shiva is towards east. The Shivling worshipped in the temple is considerably big.
The popular belief is that the Pratishta in the temple was performed by Parashurama avatar of Vishnu.
The Upa Devatas worshipped in the temple are Ganapathy and Sastha. The main festival observed in the temple is Mahashivratri.
In ancient times, the temple used to have 10,000 para pattom. The temple belonged to Nilambur Kovilakam. Currently the temple is managed by Kshetra Samrakshana Samiti.
