Erattakulangara Temple is located at Wadakkanchery in Thrissur district, Kerala. Wadakkanchery Erattakulangara Temple festival 2024 date is February 14. The main festival is held on Kumbham 1. Thira and Poothanum of Mannanmar is held during the festival.
The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Durga. The murti is carved out of stone and it faces west.
The Upa Devatas worshipped in the temple are Ayyappa, Nagarajavu and Ganapathy.
There are two ponds in the vicinity of the temple and this is the reason why the temple is known as Erattakulangara. Kulam means pond and eratta means two in Malayalam.
The belief is that the deity in the temple is the sister of Kurumakkavil Devi. The temple belonged to Kelothu Tharavad.
