Parappukadu Devi temple is an architecturally beautiful temple, resembling Tamil Nadu temples, located on Manthanam-Shanthipuram Rd, Mamunda, Kochikala near Karukachal in Kottayam district, Kerala. The main murti in the temple is that of Uma Maheshwara (Shiva and Goddess Parvati).
This is one of the rare temples in Kerala in which Shiva and
Goddess Parvati is worshipped in the same sanctum sanctorum.
The main Rajagopuram here is 83 feet tall. The shrine was
established in 1998. A total of 12 deities are worshipped in 10 sanctum
sanctorum in the temple.
The other deities worshipped in the temple are Sri Rama
(12.5 feet tall murti), Hanuman (7.25 feet tall murti), Goddess Bhadrakali,
Mrityunjaya Murti, Ganapati, Dharma Sastha, Subrahmanya, Dhanvantari and Goddess
Saraswati.

- 1998 ൽ ചെങ്കോട്ടുകോണം മഠാധിപതി സ്വാമി സത്യാനന്ദ സരസ്വതിയാണ് ക്ഷേത്രത്തിന്റെ ശിലാന്യാസം നടത്തിയത്.
- ശ്രീരാമ ചന്ദ്രന്റെ പന്ത്രണ്ടേകാൽ അടി ഉയരമുള്ള ഒറ്റ കൃഷ്ണശിലയിൽ തീർ‌ത്ത വിഗ്രഹവും, ഹനുമാൻ സ്വാമിയുടെ ഏഴേകാൽ അടി ഉയരമുള്ള വിഗ്രഹവും ക്ഷേത്രത്തിന്റെ പ്രധാന പ്രത്യേകതകളാണ്.
- പത്തു ശ്രീകോവിലുകളിലായി 12 മൂർത്തികളുടെ പ്രതിഷ്ഠകളാണ് ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലുള്ളത്. അചാര്യഗുരു - ഭദ്രകാളി, ശ്രീരാമചന്ദ്രൻ, ഹനുമാൻ, മൃത്യുഞ്ജയമൂർത്തി, ഗണപതി, ശ്രീധർമ്മശാസ്താവ്, സുബ്രഹ്മണ്യസ്വാമി, ധന്വന്തരീമൂർത്തി, സരസ്വതിദേവി എന്നീ മൂർത്തികളാണ് മറ്റ് പ്രതിഷ്ഠകൾ.
