Iriveri Pulideva temple (also known as Iriveri Kavu) is located at Iriveri in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to various Puli Daviangal (Manifestation of Shiva and Goddess Parvati and their children). The annual theyyam thira kaliyattam festival is held for five days at Iriveri Pulideva temple in Malayalam Makaram and Kumbha Masam – Makaram 28 to Kumbham 2 (February 11 to Feb 14).
The important theyyams that can be witnessed at Iriveri
Pulideva temple are Karinthiri Kannan, Appakkalan, Kalapuliyan, Pulli
Karimkali, Puliyoor Kali, Puliyoor Kannan, Kallinkal Pookkulavan, Pulimuthappan
and Pulimuthachi.
This is a small shrine with a square sanctum sanctorum (chathura sreekovils) for the main deities. The roof and walls are traditionally decorated. Other deities are worshipped in smaller chathura sreekovil. Some deities are worshiped atop raised square platforms. Certain deities are worshiped under trees. Sankranti in every Malayalam month is of significance here. Vishu festival is of importance here.
The shrine is located amidst five-acre forest.

ജില്ലയിൽ പാനേരിച്ചാലിനടുത്താണ് ഇരിവേരി പുലി ദൈവ ക്ഷേത്രം.
പുലി ദൈവ പ്രതിഷ്ഠയുള്ള ഈ
ക്ഷേത്രം ഇരിവേരിക്കുന്ന് കൈലാസം എന്ന പേരിലും അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു.
പണ്ട്
ശിവ പാർവ്വതിമാർ കാട്ടിലൂടെ നടന്ന കാലത്ത് രണ്ട് ഇണ പുലികൾ രതി
ക്രീഡകളിൽ ഏര്‍പ്പെടുന്നത് കാണാനിടയായി. ശിവ പാര്‍വ്വതിമാർ അപ്പോൾ
സ്വയം പുലി രൂപം ധരിച്ചു,
ഈ രൂപങ്ങളാണ് പുലി കണ്ടനും പുള്ളി
കരിങ്കാളിയും. ഇവരുടെ ആണ്‍മക്കളാണ് കണ്ട പുലി, മാര
പുലി, കാള പുലി, പുലി
മാരുതൻ, പുലിയൂർ കണ്ണന്‍. ഇളയവൾ പുലിയൂർ കാളിയും. ഇതിൽ ആണ്‍മക്കളെ ഐവർ
പുലി മക്കൾ എന്ന് വിളിയ്ക്കും. ഈ ആറ് പുലി
മക്കളും ഓടിക്കളിച്ചിരുന്ന സ്ഥലമാണത്രെ ഇരിവേരി.
പുള്ളി
കരിങ്കാളി ഗര്‍ഭിണി ആയിരുന്നപ്പോള്‍ മാംസം കൊടുക്കാന്‍ വേണ്ടി പുലി കണ്ടന്‍ കുറുബ്രാതിരി വാണോരുടെ ആല
തകർത്ത് പശുക്കളെ കൊന്നു. പുലികളുടെ വിദ്യയാണെന്ന് മനസ്സിലാക്കിയ വാണോര്‍ പുലികളെ കൊല്ലാന്‍ കരിന്തിരി നായരെ ഏല്‍പ്പിച്ചു, നായരെ പുലി കണ്ടന്‍ കൊന്നു. പുലികളുടെ
രഹസ്യം മനസ്സിലാക്കിയ വാണോര്‍ പുലി ദൈവങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് സ്ഥാനം നല്‍കി ആദരിച്ചു. അഞ്ച് ഏക്കർ വിസ്തൃതിയുള്ള കാട്ടിനകത്താണ് ക്ഷേത്രം. മകരം 28 മുതൽ കുംഭം ഒന്ന്
വരെയാണ് ഉത്സവം.
ഇരിവേരിക്കാവിന്റെ
അതേ മാതൃകയിൽ തന്നെ കാഞ്ഞിരോടും കിലാലുരും പുലി ദേവ ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങൾ
സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നു.
