the Goddess manifested as Ambaji, the compassionate Mother, to bless her

The offering of coconut and red chuniri (cloth) symbolizes
purity, devotion, and surrender. The red color stands for energy and divine
power, while the coconut represents self-offering and the shedding of ego.

Purana states, “The Mother of the Universe became Shakambhari to feed the
world with fruits and herbs” (Markandeya Purana, Devi Mahatmya 11.46). This
reflects her role as the provider of life and fertility on earth.
