Story Of Vilwamangalam Swamiyar And Mistress – Importance Of Intensity In Spiritual Life

Chandra Mantra for Wish Fulfillment

Chandra is the moon good in Hinduism. He is also one among the Navgrahas (nine planets) in Hindu astrology. Below given Chandra mantra is chanted for wish fulfillment. श्रीं चंद्राय कामदायकाय नमः Shreem Chandraya Kamdaykaya Namah How to Chant the Chandra Mantra for Wish Fulfillment? It is chanted on Monday. In the evening take bath and offer prayers to Ganesha. On sighting the moon, light a lamp using cow ghee. Offer water mixed with chandan to the moon by pouring the water down looking at the moon. Offer Kheer as bhog or Prasad. This should be later eaten by the devotee and shared with family members. Chant the mantra 108 times. Keep count on a Chandan mala. Watering Babool tree on the day is considered highly meritorious.

Story – God Does Exist But People Do Not Search Properly

Swami Sudarshanananda narrates an interesting story of barber and his client. The story explains that people are not able to see god because they do not search properly. A man went to a barber to have a haircut. While the barber went about with his work, he picked up a conversation with barber. They discussed many things and, in due course, about God. The barber said that he did not believe in the existence of God. The client asked why and the barber replied that if God existed then why there were so many sick people, why there were abandoned children and other evils in life. The man did not react to the statement because he wanted to avoid an argument. The barber finished his job and the man went out of the shop.
