Kalaka was an evil life in her previous birth and she committed suicide by consuming poison. The messengers of Lord Yama, the god of death, came to take Kalaka away. They took her to Lord Yama. Lord Yama asked Chitragupta, the record keeper and the god of judgement, about the details of Kalaka’s life. Chitragupta told the details of Kalaka’s life and said: ‘She is bound to roam as a ghost for a long time.’ Kalaka was wandering on earth here and there as ghost and suffering greatly. Ghrita – Ghee In Vedic Rituals In Hindu Religion

Ghrita – Ghee (clarified butter) is an offering in Vedic rituals. When ghee is used part of vedic rituals in Hindu religion it is called ajya and havisya. The offering of a stream of ghee in the sacred fire, uttering the sacred Vedic chants, addressing a particular deity, with the words ending svaha is an age-old practice from Rig Vedic times (Rig Veda Mandala 6, sukta 16-47). It is believed that the gods are propitiated and pleased by the devotional offering of ghee in the yajna rituals. Agni, the fire god in Hinduism, is supposed to be the carrier of the ajya bhaga of each deity, in all the yajnas. The mimamsa texts detail how the purification of the ghee for the yajna should be done, the storing and handling of the ghee using the sruka and sruva (ladles), the way it should be poured into the yajna fire, etc. In the daily worship of deity in Hindu religion, the ajya snana – the smearing of the deity with ghrita and chanting – is a regular part of Panchamrit Sn

It is believed that Vyakarana Mahabhashyam of Sage Patanjali was taught to Govinda Bhagavatpada by Gaudapada in the form of ghost. As per Patanjali charitam of Rama Bhadra Dikshithar, Gaudapada was the student of Sage Patanjali in Chidambaram. He was learning Vyakarana Mahabhashyam from Patanjali Rishi.  Gaudapada was erratic in attending the classes. This angered Sage Patanjali who cursed him to become a Brahmarakshas (ghost). Sage Patanjali repented later and blessed Gaudapada with the knowledge of Vyakarana Mahabhashyam. He also told Gaudapada that when he teaches the text to an eligible student he will be relieved of the curse. Gaudapada then resided at a cave near the present Omkareshwar Temple on the banks of Narmada River. Sitting on a peepal tree on the banks of Narmada River, Gaudapada interviewed many people but found no one worth receiving the knowle

He who has overcome the fear of the unknown is a true winner

He who has overcome the fear of the unknown is a true winner. He has achieved bliss – that which each human being is searching for on earth. Every day is a challenge but there is no point in getting intimidated. We have to face it. The only way to face it is by not losing hope and by seeing the positive in every situation. Practice equanimity. Do not get excited by anything including success and failure. Keep calm and composure in all situations. Good and bad are like bubbles. They do not have long life. But the ocean that is the reason behind each bubble is eternal. We should be interested in the ocean not in the bubbles. Always search for the real source. Do not be satisfied with the unreal. Most of our search ends with the unreal. It has only a very short life. This is the reason for dissatisfaction in the world. When the real is understood, there will be no disappointment. There should always be an inner motivation to know the unknown. In reality, there is no unknown.
