Molakat Vrat paran is on July 22 and Jagran is on July 23. This Vrata is observed by unmarried girls for getting a good husband. Please note that in some regions this Vrat is observed from the thirteenth day of the waxing phase of the moon in the month of Ashada for five days.

In the ritual unmarried women sow seven different types of seed on the first day. The seedlings are watered on all the five days and prayers are offered. By the end of the fifth day, the seeds sprout and this is shared with friends and relatives.

In some regions, unmarried women only take a single meal in the evening for five days.

The vrat is similar to Jaya Parvati Vrat held in other regions of Gujarat.
