Lambodara Ganesha is one among the 56 Vinayakas worshipped in Varanasi or Kashi. This is mentioned in Kashi khanda of the Skanda Purana. Kadamba tree, also known as Vellai Kadambu in Tamil and common bur flower tree in English, is associated with the world famous Madurai Meenakshi temple in Tamil Nadu.
