Chavadi In Shirdi Sai Baba Temple – Lendi Baug Garden – Nandadeep Lamp

 Chavadi, a place in Shirdi where Sai Baba was slept, is a revered spot in the Shirdi Sai Baba temple complex and is located near Dwarkamai. Baba slept every alternative day at the Chavadi. It is now divided into two sections. It has a portrait of Baba and a wooden cot. Lendi Baug, a garden laid out by Baba, is a little away from Gurusthan. He watered the plants daily. He used to visit the garden in the morning and the afternoon. The garden also houses a memorial to Shyamsundar, the saint’s favorite horse. Bhaktapur Bhairavnath Temple – Nepal – Chariot Festival

Bhaktapur Bhairavnath temple is located, on the east side Taumadhi Square, at Bhaktapur in Nepal. The temple is dedicated Bhairav or Nasa Dyo – Bhairavnath form of Shiva. The shrine is also known as Kasi Biswonath or the Pantali Mandir. The murti of Bhairav worshipped in the temple is known as Akash Bhairav – the one with infinite space. It is also believed that the deity resides in wheels of chariots. Only the head of the deity is worshipped in the temple. The deity is worshipped in miniature form on a small metal throne. The three chariots (Raths) used for the annual Puri Jagannath Ratha Yatra are newly constructed each year. A particular family of carpenters owns the hereditary right to construct the chariots. The construction of the chariots begins on the Akashya Tritiya day, which is around three months before the actual Ratha Yatra day. Each chariot used in the Rath Yatra has specific size and dimensions. The chariots are a classic example on indigenous engineering marvel. Sal wood is used for the construction of the chariots. The wood is brought from the forests of Daspalla and Ranapur.  Around 2,188 pieces of wood are needed for the construction of the chariots These are chiseled out by around 125 carpenters.
