The State of Gujarat in India conducts Jagannath Rath Yatra similar to the world famous Puri Jagannath Ratha Yatra and the most popular is the Ahmedabad Rath Yatra. In 2023, the date of Rath Yatra in Gujarat is June 20. In 2023, it is the 146th year of celebrations. The Rathas used in the Rath Yatra are small in size compared to the huge Rathas in Puri. Gupt Navratri, also referred as Gayatri or Ashada Navratri, is nine days dedicated to the nine forms of Shakti (Mother Goddess) in the Hindi month of Ashada (June – July).
