Ernakulam Valanjambalam Devi Temple Festival

Valanjambalam Devi Temple is located in the heart of Ernakulam city, Kerala. The annual Thalappoli festival is held in Makaram month (January – February). The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathi – Durga. The temple is also known as Perumanoor Kavu. Pezhumthuruthu Sreedevi temple is located at on the island of Pezhumthuruthu located between Munroe Island (Munroe thuruthu) and Perumon in Kollam district, Kerala. At the Sri Ranganatha temple in Srirangam, Vaikunta Ekadasi lasts for 21 days – which is divided into two parts of pagal pathu and Ira pathu. Atri Smriti is a Dharmashastra text in Hinduism and it is attributed to Sage Atri. Rishi Atri is referred to as the second of the eighteen smritikaras mentioned by Yajnavalkya (Yajnavalkya-acaradhyaya chapter 4 verse 5). No Desire Means No Anger And No Sin

Sage Of Kanchi (Jagadguru Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswati Mahaswamigal (20 May 1894 – 8 January 1994)) states that no desire means no anger and no sin.
