Four Incarnations of Ganesha in Four Yugas

According to Ganesha Purana, Shri Ganesh took four incarnations (avataras) in the four yugas (cosmic ages). The four Yugas in Hinduism are Satya (or Krita Yuga), Treta, Dwapara and Kali Yuga, which is the present era. In Satya or Krita Yuga, Ganesh appeared as Mahotkata; in Dwapara Yuga He appeared as Mayuresvara; in Treta Yuga He appeared as Gajanana, and in Kali Yuga he will appear as Dhumraketu.

In the Satya Yuga, Ganesha incarnates as Mahotkata, the son of Kasyapa and Aditi. Mahotkata is popularly known as Vinayaka.
In this form Ganesha has ten arms and rides a lion. He incarnates to annihilate the Adharma practiced by demons Davantaka, Narantaka, and Dhumraksa.
In the Treta Yuga, Ganesha incarnates as Mayuresvara. He is the son of Shiva.
In this form, Ganesha has six arms and rides a peacock. The aim of this avatar was to annihilate the demon Sindhu.
In the Dwapara Yuga, Ganesha incarnates as Gajanana. He is the son of Shiva.

Biggest Ganesh Idol during 2013 Ganesh Chaturthi at Vizag – Tallest Clay Murti – 77-ft Samaikya Ganesh in Vishakapatanam in Andhra Pradesh

The tallest and biggest Ganesh idol during Ganesh Chaturthi 2013 is the 77-ft Samaikya Ganesha in Vishakapatanam in Andhra Pradesh. Last year also a Ganesh murti at Vizag was the tallest. The Ganesha is nearly 18-feet wide and is in standing posture and is located  at Lanka Grounds in Old Gajuwaka.

A mix of wood and clay was employed to mould the figure. The paint too is made using natural colors. 

Deccan Chronicle writes Seeking divine intervention to keep the state united, a big idol of Lord Ganesh, 77-foot high and 18-foot wide, with the theme of ‘Samaikyandhra’ concept, is being installed in the city, which the organisers say will be largest in the state.
