Parakkunnathu Sree Vettakkorumakan temple is located at Aroli in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Vettakkorumakan. The annual theyyam thira kaliyattam festival is held for two days in Malayalam Kumbha Masam – Kumbham 19 and Kumbham 20 (March 3 and March 4).
This is a small shrine with a Chathura sreekovil and other
smaller structures for other deities. Some deities are worshipped under trees. Certain
deities are worshipped atop raised small square platforms.
The important theyyams that can be witnessed at Parakkunnathu Sree Vettakkorumakan temple are Vettakkorumakan and Oorpzhassi theyyam.

പരക്കുന്നത്ത് വേട്ടയ്ക്കൊരുമകന് ക്ഷേത്ര കളിയാട്ടം March 3- 4 ദിവസങ്ങളില് നടക്കും. March 3 വൈകുന്നേരം ആറുമണിക്ക് തോറ്റങ്ങള് തുടങ്ങും. March 4 വൈകുന്നേരം ഏഴുമണിമുതല് വെള്ളാട്ടവും രാത്രി 12 മണിക്ക് ഊര്പ്പഴശ്ശി വേട്ടയ്ക്കൊരുമകന് തെയ്യത്തിന്റെ പുറപ്പാടും നടക്കും.
