Madhu Krishna Trayodashi

Madhukrishna, or Madhu Krishna Trayodashi, is an auspicious day observed during the waning phase of the moon in the Phalgun or Falguna month. In 2018, the date of Madhu Krishna Trayodashi is March 15. It is observed on the 13th day of the Krishna Paksha in Falgun month (February – March).

Madhu Krishna Trayodashi is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Some devotees undertake a partial fast on the day. Some Hindu devotees opt for a complete fast. Madhu Krishna Trayodashi is mainly observed in western part of India by some Hindu communities.
