Naina Devi Temple Bilaspur Official Website

The famous NainaDeviTemple at Bilaspur in Himachal Pradesh now has an official website. Goddess Shakti is worshipped here as Mata Shri Naina Devi. The website contains the history of the temple, online donation option, pictures and various other information. The website is available in Hindi and English. Tarashtami – Ashtami dedicated to Goddess Tara

Tarashtami is dedicated to Goddess Tara and is observed on the eighth day during the Chatira and Ashwin Navratri. Tarashtami 2018 date during Chaitra Navratri is on March 25. Goddess Tara is one among the numerous forms of Goddess Shakti.

Tarashtami is observed on the eighth day of the Shukla Paksha or waxing phase of moon in Chaitra and Ashwin month.

The day is popularly observed as Durga Ashtami.

Maa Tara is also the family deity of several families in North India. They conduct special pujas and rituals on the day.
