Karamel Vellora Tharavadu Devasthanam temple is located at Karamel near Payyannur in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Bhagavathy, Chamundi, Vishnumoorthi and numerous other deities. The annual theyyam thira kaliyattam festival is observed for three days in Malayalam Thula Masam – Thulam 20 to Thulam 22 (November 6 to November 8).

Vellora Tharavadu Devasthanam temple are Bhairvan, Kuttichathan, Karuvallamma,
Rakta Chamundi, Angakulangara Bhagavathy, Puthiya Bhagavathi, Madayil Chamundi,
Vishnumoorthi, Gulikan and Vallarkulangara Bhagavathi. (ഭൈരവന്, കുട്ടിച്ചാത്തന്, കരുവാളമ്മ, രക്തചാമുണ്ഡി, അങ്കക്കുളങ്ങര ഭഗവതി, പുതിയ ഭഗവതി, മടയില് ചാമുണ്ഡി, വിഷ്ണുമൂര്ത്തി, ഗുളികന്, വല്ലാര്ക്കുളങ്ങര ഭഗവതി എന്നീ തെയ്യങ്ങള് കെട്ടിയാടും.
The main deities are worshipped in a Chathura sreekovil –
square sanctum sanctorum. Some deities are worshipped atop small square
platforms and under trees. There are other smaller sreekovils. The temple
performs special pujas and rituals on Sankranti day. This is a family
maintained private temple.
