A Hanuman Temple , named Sanjeevaraya Temple , is also located midway up the hill. Devarayanadurga is around 15 km from Tumkur. Devarayanadurga Bhoga Narasimha Swamy Temple Bhoga Narasimha Swamy Temple , which faces east, is built in Dravidian style. The main murti in the temple is that of Narasimha Swamy (Avatar of Bhagvan Vishnu) and Goddess Lakshmi. There is also a separate shrine dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi near the main sanctum sanctorum. The small rajagopuram of the temple is noted for its ornamental designs and small carved figures. Another highlight here is the tall dhwajasthambha (flag mast) made out of granite. The pillars and the outer walls of the sanctum sanctorum are adorned with sculptures, small figures and design motifs. Sanjeevaraya
