Brahmamuhurta – The time period of Brahmamuhurtam

Brahmamuhurta is time considered ideal for meditation, yoga and prayers. Brahmamuhurtam time is from early morning – 48 minutes before sunrise. The popular belief is that this period is the most auspicious period for doing prayers etc as the atmosphere is calm and there is purity of mind, thought and action.
There is a legend that Goddess Saraswati wakes up during this period and blesses the devotees. The period is considered ideal for learning.
It must be noted that there is a difference between Brahmamuhurta and Brahmayamam. Brahmayamam begins at around 3:00 AM in the morning.

Den Haag Ratha Yatra 2010 – Jagannath Rathyatra or Car Festival in Netherlands

The Den Haag Ratha Yatra in Holland, which celebrates the world famous Puri Jagannath Rath Yatra, will be held on July 3rd, 2010. This procession at the Denhaag in Netherlands commemorates the Puri Jagannath Rathyatra and has small chariots of Sri Jagannath, Subhadra, and Sri Balarama.The 2010 edition of the Den Haag Ratha Yatra is the 16th edition of the Ratha Yatra festival in Netherlands. Ratha Yatra, referred as Chariot or Car festival, is a popular annual festival observed at the JagannathTemple in Puri in India for centuries. The festival was first introduced in the western countries in 1967 in San Franscisco by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.Please note that the world famous Puri Jagannath Rath Yatra in 2010 is on July 13 at Puri in Orissa in India.

Vivasvat Saptami 2018 date – Viwaswat Saptami

Vivasvat Saptami is dedicated to Lord Surya and is observed in the Ashadh month. Vivasvat Saptami 2018 date is July 19. Vivaswat is another name of Hindu God Surya, the Sun God. The day is of great importance in many parts of India and is observed on the seventh day during waxing phase of moon (Shukla Paksha) in the Ashada month.

Saptami, the seventh day in a lunar fortnight, is dedicated to Surya.

Surya was known as Vivaswat during Vedic period and was later replaced by the name Surya and the deity also underwent some transformations.

Ashada Mahina 2018 in Hindi North Indian Calendars - Ashad Month 2018 in Hindu Calendar

Ashadh Mahina is the fourth month in a traditional Hindu lunar calendar followed in North India. Ashada Mahina 2018 in North India is from June 29 to July 27. This calendar is followed mainly in Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Haryana, Bihar and Chhattisgarh and other North India states. A month is calculated from the day after Purnima or full moon to the next Purnima. The year in the Hindi Calendar is Saka 2075.

Chaturthi Vrat or Sankashti Ganesh Chaturti in Ashada Month 2018 is July 1. The Chandrodaya or Moonrise time as per North Indian calendars is 9:34 PM.
