This pooja should not be performed on Saturdays, Sundays, or Tuesdays, as these days are considered inauspicious for the ritual. It is also advisable to avoid conducting it during Divas karma, Had Paksha, and Shraddha Paksha, as these periods are not suitable for auspicious ceremonies. Additionally, the fourth, ninth, and fourteenth tithis are not considered favorable for this pooja. Construction work should also be postponed if a woman in the household is more than seven months pregnant.
Note - Please note that sometimes the whole day will
not be auspicious. It is always wise to take the advice of a local astrologer
as he will be able to take into account all local conditions while looking for
time.
Note – Dates before January 15, dates from March 15 to
April 15 and dates from December 15 are not good in North India as there is
Kharmas. If you are not following Kharmas then the dates are good for you.
