Kuthirummal Kolangarath Valappil Gooliyanga Bhagavathy Kavu temple is located at Kuthirummal near Kunhimangalam in Kannur district, Kerala. The annual theyyam thira kaliyattam festival is held for two days in Malayalam Thula Masam – Thulam 22 to Thulam 23 (November 7 to Nov 8).

This is a small beautiful Kerala style temple with
traditional architecture. There is a chathura sreekovil for the main deity.
There are also small sreekovils and square platforms for worshipping subsidiary
deities. Some deities are worshipped under trees. Sankranti in every Malayalam
month is of great importance here.

ബാലി തെയ്യം
ശ്രീരാമ ദേവനാൽ വധിക്കപ്പെട്ട് ബാലി വീര മോക്ഷം പ്രാപിച്ചു ദൈവ കരുവായ് യോഗപ്പെട്ടു. വടുക രാജാവിന്റെ വടുക കൊട്ടയിൽ കുടികൊണ്ട ദൈവം പിന്നീട് മണുമ്മൽ വിശ്വകർമ്മാവിന്റെ വെള്ളോല കുടമെൽ ആധാരമാക്കി മണുമ്മൽ ശേഷിക്കുന്നു. പൂജയും നേർച്ചയും വെള്ളവും വെള്ളാട്ടവും തണ്ണീരമൃതും വാങ്ങി തെളിഞ്ഞു നിക്കുന്നു. ശെഷം മണുമ്മൽ, കുറുതാഴ, വടക്കൻ കൊവ്വൽ, മോറാഴ എന്നീ നാലു സ്ഥാനങ്ങളിൽ ഒരുപൊലെ ശേഷിപ്പെട്ടതിനുശെഷം നാലു വർണത്തിനും(ആശാരി,മൂശാരി,തട്ടാൻ,പെരും കൊല്ലൻ,ചെമ്പോട്ടി) താങ്ങായും തണലായും പപരിപാലിച്ചു വരുന്ന ദൈവമാണ് ബാലി (നെടു ബാലി ).
