Kodiyeri Sree Kuzhumiyil Pullikarimkali temple is located at Kodiyeri in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Pullikarimkali and numerous other deities. The annual temple theyyam kaliyattam thira festival is held for three days in Malayalam Makara Masam – Makaram 27 to Makaram 29 (February 10 to Feb 12).
The important theyyams that can be witnessed at Kodiyeri
Sree Kuzhumiyil Pullikarimkali temple are Karnavar theyyam, Thekkan Gulikan
theyyam, Thekkan Kariyathan theyyam and Vishnumoorthi theyyam.
This is a small shrine with a chathura sreekovil for the
main deity. There are other smaller sreekovils and raised platforms for other
deities. Certain deities are worshipped under trees. Sankranti in a Malayalam
month is of great importance.
