Kanjikuzhy Vattompara Shiva Subrahmanya Swami Temple

Kanjikuzhy Vattompara Subrahmanya Swami temple is located at Kanjikuzhy in Idukki district, Kerala. The temple is dedicated to Shiva and Subramanya or Muruga. The 6-day annual festival is known Kumbha Pooyam Mahotsavam. Another important festival in the temple is the Thaipooyam in Makaram month. The shrine also observes Mahashivratri.

The temple has two separate square sanctums or chathura sreekovil dedicated to Shiva and Muruga or Subrahmanya.

Sashti day falling during waxing phase of moon or after Amavasya is of great importance in the temple. Another important day is the pradosham observed on the 13th day of a fortnight.
